It's crazy to think that summer is already around the corner! That being said, we wanted to share some helpful information regarding choosing the right program for your child. Here are our thoughts on some important factors that go into choosing the best program for your athlete! Fun = Key Yes, kids want a challenge, but at the end of the day - kids just want to be kids... yes, the goal may be to get your athlete off of video games, technology, etc, etc but there are plenty of ways to have kids work hard, challenge themselves, all while having a great time!
New Memories + New Friends Kids will always love playing fun games, scrimmaging, etc. but what many will remember the most is making meeting awesome new friends along the way! Camps are a great setting for kids to build their confidence while also meeting new people that could become life-long friends!
Coaches + Mentors At camps, kids will not only socialize amongst their peers, they will also have the chance to interact with coaches/camp counselors that are there to provide valuable life lessons + answers any questions campers may have. Many of the Hoopfest Camp counselors have played or play at the collegiate level or higher!
Carolina Hoopfest offers Summer Camps in Cabarrus County, NC and Charlotte,NC Active, Engaging, Challenging Programs have to be balanced in order to keep kids excited and locked-in. You want the athletes to be challenged, engaged, while also having an awesome experience. Whether it's games,competitions, or daily motivational messages to start the day - it's all to help the players grow on and off the court! How much is too much? People often think we are crazy for only charging $80-100 for 3 full days of camp - but the truth is, we just want to offer an affordable option to help keep kids in the gym! There's no reason to charge hundreds of dollars for camp unless kids are there for 50+ hours a week (and that still seems a bit pricey to us!). That being said, we hope people take advantage of our early bird camp rate(s).
